Private school high society and small-town public school life couldn’t have been more different. Navigating both taught me how to read the room, adapt quickly, and connect with people from all walks of life. Those skills became my secret weapon in sales.

Built a Business from Scratch in Panama at 23

I moved to Panama with a few suitcases and built an e-commerce business before online shopping was mainstream. I sourced products globally, designed packaging, and handled international logistics. When I hit roadblocks—like waiting 30+ days for internet—I walked into BellSouth’s headquarters, pitched the president, and walked out with my own satellite connection. I learned that barriers are just challenges waiting for solutions.

Hit Rock Bottom & Rebuilt from Scratch

After Panama, I returned to the U.S. with college loans, no car, and no place to live. I spent a year sleeping on my old college futon, working two jobs just to make ends meet. It was humbling, but it taught me resilience and grit—the same skills I now teach others to transform their sales game.

Mastered Fortune 500 Sales the Hard Way

I broke into medical sales — a male-dominated, high-stakes industry — by cold-calling my way in. Over 13 years, I mastered forecasting, closed complex deals in operating rooms within top hospital systems, and partnered with Fortune 500 medical device companies — all while learning to sell without losing my authenticity. I became the go-to person for turning around underperforming territories, rebuilding trust with clients, and driving consistent revenue growth in some of the toughest markets.

Scaled $0 to $2M in Revenue in One Year

In 2017, I joined a family owned business in the logistics industry I knew nothing about, and in a male-dominated space, I went from zero to $2M in revenue within a year. I didn’t just sell; I connected, solved problems, and navigated complex logistics. A leadership program taught me to lower anxiety, own my strengths, and let go of perfectionism. This is when I realized my purpose: to help others unlock their potential by pulling the right threads.
